INTERNATIONAL TROMBONE WEEK
A Celebration of the International Holiday
During the month of April 2019, in cooperation with the Midland-Odessa Symphony & Chorale, Odessa College, sAge Brass, and the Texas Tech Trombone Studio, we put on the first annual West Texas Celebration of International Trombone Week.
With the addition of new low brass professionals in West Texas, we have our sights on 2023!
PHD RESEARCH AT TEXAS TECH
Ongoing
Since the Spring of 2020, I have had all coursework complete to receive a PhD in Fine Arts Administration with a Certificate in the Essentials of Business.
Many would call this 'ABD' (All But Dissertation), but unfortunately there are a few exams I need to complete in order to claim this 'officially'.
Currently, expected graduation in Summer/Fall 2023!
CURRENT NINE
Rock Cover Band in Midland, TX
In July 2019, I subbed in as a trombonist in one of the best groups of people and professional musicians in Texas, Current Nine.
The following month, I was asked to come on as their trombonist!
The name implies that we are the 'Current Nine' premiere instrumentalists in West Texas. I am so thankful to have joined this amazing group of talented individuals.
LOW BRASS QUARTET

In the summer of 2018, a large group of low brass players got together to rehearse and perform a summer concert. What resulted was the sAge Brass Quartet, a 4-piece ensemble dedicated to the performance, education, and creation of new works for the symphony low-brass chamber group.
